Got to be middle I would say, 80-90 yards or more ? Too snaggy closer in, I guess its from the dredging ?

Daft question as I've never fished there (Seaham and up around Amble in the main) but where would you head to have a shout of a decent fish there. Don't know the walkway at all.

I would say anywhere on there mate and just stick a big bait out in the middle. I always get the impression its pot luck really on that mark and you are just hoping to intercept passing fish on the tide. Prefer the flood myself and always feel it would be better on bigger tides, but the flow can get a bit much. Me I wouldn't go without crab.

I think its a dam shame that so called anglers don't remove there rubbish during fishing or when they pack up . just put a plastic bag in ya pocket take it away its not a hard thing to do ,that's the first thing that gets fishing stopped leaving rubbish, and give other anglers a bad name.
well done to the lad for cleaning up after these offenders

I always park near the yacht club myself, but I don't fish there very often.

I would think that if the residents start to complain then the fishing will be put in jeopardy on the walkway for the sake of some mindless anglers, you don't want rubbish outside your house, yes I agree fixed plenty for litter the council already have one for litter fly tipping & dog fouling.

Some lads came on last night with a big "ghetto blaster" playing their music, they were nice lads, but I can imagine the residents complaining.
