hi lad sorry couldnt leave feed earlier me and a m8 went down cliffs on sunday for a few hoys seen as there was a canny northerlie running along there was nerly bottom water and we start on the coffin rock 1st few hoys using worm baits nt a sniff so decided 2 move down 2 stinking hole 1st hoy there came with a gud rattle on my m8 rod he pulled in a codling bout the 1lb mark using clam and mussel so we stuk wit that so decided 2 stay a short while longer any way 2 cut long story short my m8 ended up with 3 biggest round bout 2 1/2 clam seemed top bait, bites every hoy was either the move or change of bait all fish was released 4 me in the following winters ha ha

always thought stinking hole was,nt a bad shot, quarry thought it was a big fish shot later in year , one of my fav shots is church point ,cliff tops also realy like easy fishing and easy to get to but difficult getting fish up thoughdid you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

yeah a fish the downovers wen thnk it rite on church point great mark if u dnt mind loosing gear again i agree the quary always produces a big fish top of the cliffs is great i like the point up from the coffin rock and seen alot of gud fish lost there

i am not from up that way but used to fish it a lot and miss it now great area, heard a bit about people fishing the bottom of cliffs low water what is it like for getting to and is there some shots better than others and finaly is it best accesable from sandy bay end tadid you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?
