With the wind and rain clearing and a bit sea running I decided to give frenchies point a shot hoping for a few codling. Got there about 11:30pm, the wind was still blowing southerly keeping the sea away, but gradually turned westerly and started to flatten it off.
It was a bit slow at first, probably with the tide being pretty low. I had one codling 4th cast about 2lb. Followed by two dabs then another codling about 3lb, it went pretty slow again over high water, then had one more about 1 1/2lb at about 5am. Packed up about 6 absolutely goosed.
Baits used were frozen blacks and cart.
