The bairn top rod again

Yesterday me and the bairn thought we would go out for a couple of hours (since now he has the bug ) down the tyne, weren't expecting much as we were fishing the wrong state of the tide, we met me brother, Steven and his bairn Harvey down at hebburn, we started with are first cast, straight away his rod got a good bite, he picked it up and started reeling, it was a codling, wasn't size but his biggest codling so far and he was over the moon, after that nothing really happened I had 1 codling and my brother had 1,joes being the biggest , we decided to pack up as the tide was pulling a bit too much, cant wait to go out again with me up and coming champ
