Well got to roker about 5:30 and from the start was into whiteys.
when daylight came seemed to slow down a lot and the tide rip in the water did not help pulling the lines like mad.
but we still manage 12 whiteys between us.
i caught 3 of them on my cart what i was pleased about caught 1 on rag,crab and last 1 i caught using a plastic lure spayed in sticky stuff to try it again.
but i think the whiteys were eating out in site.
i seen a cod come in just before daylight and a guy with a nice red one when i was coming of the pier around the old gate mark.
but was a nice day and pier was canny busy especially up on top round head.
heard the ratty was busy as well.
i will keep trying for my first big cod this week.
