Fished the beacons last night 3 down 3 up sea state flat with a canny westerly blow been a long time since last fished on here so me and me mate thought lets give it a bash me mate phill was the first one into a fish and it put a canny bend in his rod but got snagged up close in "no rotty and lost it bummer then it was my turn small codling about a 1lb that went straight back we had a few more little codling which all went back to get a bit bigger it then went quiet over slack and a hour up the I got a nice pull and pulled in a 2lb codling as I was reeling it in me handle on me mag 515 snapped but me pal managed to hand ball it in
