Went down to Seaham hall beach last night to christen new rod got there about 5.30 at low tide got a few tips off rocker cheers mate
I was on it all by myself a bit spooky heard a noise behind me so looked round with headlight on nothing there then bang crash wallop my new rod and rest went over absolutely gutted thinking it's going to be a bad session
3 cast and the new rod went a nice cod of 1lb 12oz on lug n cart

Then outcast Chris came down for a few hours up to high tide about 11ish with getting a coalie so Chris called it a night so I headed in between the 2 piers at Roker off the beach got a deep hooked whiting so moved to the ratty which I hate caught another good size whiting and had a good bit crack with a fella off sorry I can't remember your name then went onto the ramp to finish the session getting another cod just under size and another whiting got back in the house at 7 this morning time flys when your enjoying it

Windy session bait used lug. Cart. Makki Fresh blacks and squid

Rod is a dream to use mate thin but strong and great bite detection probably a bit stiff for me as I have a dodgy back with it been dark don't no if I was casting further but well impressed cheers
