  • Dunstinbourgh Castle

Went up to dunstinbourgh on saturday night for a few hours. loaded up the big rods with razor and rag cos i couldnt get any peeler , anyway first cast Kris's rod nearly bounced out the rest but some how the fish evaded him that continued for about 3 hours him getting bites and me getting nothing. Rocks got extreamly slippy after a little rain was just thinking about packing up when the tip of the rod bounced and i landed my first nice size Red kelp cod bites died off when we ran out razor still i got my first landable cod so i was happy.

nice fish. I went up yesterday early doors, the weather was perfect but sea was far to dangerous. had to leave and come down the coast without wetting a line. gutted.
