  • blyth beach lastnight....

Fished blyth beach lastnight with my dad. I had 2 undersize codling and 2 flattys and my da had 1 whiting, 1 coley and a flatty not a bad little session. Baits used rag, lug, razor, mussel, peeler, mussel, mackerel and squids. Tried everything to get a biggin but no luck.
Quite a few rods out but didn't see much get caught.

Me and a mate fished the pier yesterday. Only a few small fish. One bloke had half a dozen smallish cod after dark, but not a lot else caught. Have never seen so many anglers trying to get on one pier either. They were walking past us all day, must have been like sardines on the end!

Was going to try the beach, but looked a bit rough, saw a few lights on there though. Well done for giving it a go.

You can only catch what's there but I know what you mean its nice to get a decent one but nothing beats catching off the beach well done
