    Had a go on blyth beach last night "sea was flat as a fart plenty colour in the water but no fish about bar 2 coleys and a really nice eater crab boiled it up as soon as I got in last night and will be having it for me tea tonight so not all was lost yum yum cant wait for me tea

    At least you got something tasty for your efforts - I fished it sunday & monday nights for two club matches…was a bit too big really given the small tide and I got a single rockling plus the smallest codling of the winter (about 6 inches!), then it goes & fishes it's t!ts off on tuesday when the sea dropped…now it's probably a waste of time until the sea lifts on friday…roll on the weekend (and better tides!).

      Aye there was a lot taken on tues just thought I would chance it like but no good to flat .your right about the wknd like" sat its gonna really be boiling happy days cant wait

        fished Blyth last night and caught nothing either , fished the car park up from Seaton Sluice, could see a couple of lights by the harbour was that you.

          Blyth pier

          Fished the pier on Monday nite 5.30/9.00 perfect for whiting not bite,last cast in the river mackerel strip 2 mins later rod starts tapping 2lb 5oz codling saved the blank

              That crab must be a monster if so !

                          haway dale,that report is nearly 3 month old.ps,by the sounds of it your upping your casting distantices,{how ever they spell it}good on you,back must be on mend.take care {ould sod}hehehehehe.will meet you 1 day soon.just bit craic dale no offence really.
