  • Zziplex M427 SU 'v' Zziplex Zeteque TXL GT ??

Anyone got any experience on the above rods ?

I currently use a Zziplex Dymic LT Bullet and have the bug to change my rod ( dont know why as I love this one )

I was Looking at the M427 SU as the standard Zeteque is slightly shorter. Then I came across the Zeteque TXL GT which is 14" 1' so now have given myself a headache.
I fish heavy ground / kelp mainly and I'm sure they can both handle that. Also use 7 oz lead

Anyone got any recommendations please ?

    cheers

Hi there mate I fish the heavy stuff up north and I use the txl gt they are mint I have cast 8 oz and bait and it handles it no problem same as the standard zeteque and the zeteque txl they can Handel out you put on them in the thickest of sh. T lol but I would not use the txl gt of the cliffs I would stick with the zeteque txl mate

cheers for the comments Richy D
I'm not on the cliffs very often and thought the GT would have better bite detection than the standard TXL
will take that on board though and look to compare the standard TXL to the M427 SU

I fish with a zeteque and a xtr standard and both are spot on for up here, anywer between amble and seahouses! Both rods are more than capable of handling the thick kelp!
