Seaburn/Roker area early this morning

Fished the morning flood this morning with plain Lugworm. Got an undersize codling first cast, and bites were pretty steady but with the lack of tide, no takes (a few whiting bites as well). Struggled throughout the rest of the flood until an hour before top when a good slackliner resulted in this fish just under 5lb



Fished on until top of the tide, getting a couple of really good whiting, really fat, but no more codling.
