Most of the boards burnt away after some friend of humanity decided to set fire to them. They were smouldering for weeks. Nobody else to blame but the local chavs for the state it is in now

It's been set on fire Paul what a shame . We had some canny days on it I can't believe I blanked but was only there 2 hours just to see what it was like getting the gear up and fishing off it will be back on to pull a big one up this winter don't worry haha

Been a great pier, iv had some cracking sessions over the yrs on it

a real shame since the council took a section outta it, & can only be accessed now at low water

One of the best (if not the best) piers in the north east... I work down hartlepool and its been like that a good while now.. Such a waste of a cracking shot! Been on there in some huge seas, and still getting cod out.. Sadly missed!
