bottom of the cliffs/Cambois

Fished my club comp last night and headed to the bottom of the cliffs. Nothing going for the best part of the night so moved into the bay for the last hour. First cast and my mates rod eent, a nice 2lb 4oz cod that looked a lot bigger. Once again I blanked in the comp. After that we still had some bait left so decided after the weigh in we would go out for a few more chucks. First cast on the beach at Cambois bang my rod went, pulled in a codling just under 3lb. After that it went very quite got a flatty, but pleased we moved and carrier on fishing. Ill post photo's up later as my phone won't allow me to.

Shame about the comp but good move. At least a nice fish for you and going home in a better mood!

Thanks bud. My mate had the one that's gutted before the weigh in. Mine came after. Typical.
