jarrow police jetty and south shields small beach

well what a weird day i started fishing at jarrow at 10 o clock today fished for 2 hours had nothing until i reeled in to pack up and i had a flounder on good size aswell just over 36cms and fat with it i recon it was well over 2lb.my lass picked me up and i suggested we get the other rod from home and we both fish the small beach to my amazement she agreed we got there just after 1 showed claire how to cast and she took to it like a duck to water (what have i let myself in for )she was casting well over 50 yards after a couple of chucks well done claire.anyway we had nothing on the small beach so we packed up at 2:45 to pick the kids up from school.i mentioned i had a bit of bait left so claire said why done WE go back down the river while the kids went to brownies anyway off we went for a couple of hours but we got nothing again bait used was frozen crab rag and mussel.claire wants me to take her out again tomorrow so she can catch something GOD HELP ME IF SHE DOES ill never get any peace.i dont mind really.but from a woman who hates the thought of me fishing i think she might be hooked.i think baiting the hook might put her off though so thats the plan for tomorrow

Took Vicki down to Blyth Pier one night when after some mackerel. Caused absolute mayhem. Kept missing bites when telling her to hit the float going under, whatching who she was trying to hook on her cast and fishing for someones cap she decide to cast off his head. Didn't rush her back
