  • Broke the curse of blanking!

    Well after three weeks in a row of blanking decided to go out for another bash.seas where flat and really calm so wasn't expecting much.first cast had nowt so decided to change me hook size from a 4/0 to a 2/0 as advised off an older fella that was fishing nearby and what a good move it was!! Second cast bang ! Straight into a nice fish put up a good fight but a came out on top with a beauty of a cod weighting 5lbs 3oz over the moon a was after that had another 7 fish but none as big as the first one.had a mint sesh and glad a didnt blank lol.baits used was fresh runny down and rag worm .p.s. If ur reading this billy thanks for sharing ur local knowledge with me it will come in very helpful and thanx for reading lads.

                Well you said when we started out on that friday fishing session tonight is the night for a fish and what happened 8 fish in one night not to mention abz 7 nippers made up for the fact i blanked on the night all in all a good nights fishing
