Fished the prom with the old man tonight, plauged in flattys, I was using braid for the first time, had a few casts with a plain lead to start with and was clearing around 125 yards and running out of line before the lead hit the water , with bait on it was picking up the odd wind knot which was a bit of a nuisance but enjoyable, I finished with 4 plaice and 2 flounder and the awld one had 2 plaice and 2 flounder, we were using 2-0 hooks incase any whiting or anything else was there and missed about a million flattys through this but nice to see the rod going every 5 minutes for a change. Few fishing further down the twin steps way don't know how they got on though, fish came on anything that was put infront of them
