Hagerston castle

Had a break at above so fished off the beach in front of golf course. Casting 100yds plus and used big baits 2nd rod about 60-70 yds with smaller baits . Had some good bites but only had 3 small cod put back to swim down to roker for next year. Had rag and lug and some squid seemed rag and lug were getting the bites but nothing sized to pick up baits. Enjoyed it but poor result. Tried an hour Berwick 1codling 1/2lb so again no result.
