As the Winds look to be changing, decided on yet another Cod hunting session. Me & Glen decided on Hendon, as thats where he gave me a good butt kicking on Friday night 6-2 to him. and he wanted to repeat it.
Got there about 10.30am & fished over high till about 4pm, although Glen did leave about 3.15pm.
I had a steady stream of Fish, unfortunately not of the correct type, but Fish nonetheless. Ending the session on 5 good Flounder, a decent Coaley & a very small Codlet. All giving canny bites too, so good sport.
Glen on the other hand, couldnt buy a bite & went home with the Wooden spoon. 7-0 to me.
Mind you, i would rather have had Glens Bag of Codling on Friday.
Conditions looked spot on for some Cod but it wasnt to be & everyone looked to be struggling to get anything at all.
Good to see Brian J who came along for a session, think he had a size Codling & left just before me. Also Steve,Forum Member "Fish for Tea" who came along for a chat.
