    Does anybody know what the fishing is like at middle bogs?Is it worth giving it a try

          sorry could not resist. to be honest i have only fished there a few times and on both ocassions the see was just to big dragging my rig and weight back to shore. saying that i have heard of some nice fish being caught around that area during the winter. i'm sure you will get some more info on this post off some of the lads who fish there on a more regular basis. sorry i cant be of more help

              when it's flat you can "scratch" using small hooks at high water. I used to prefer the south end of the beach. Expect flatties whiting & coalie. (once managed a small turbot!)

                It also fishes well on a dying southerly.

                Fished both with great results but at the moment out of a choice of four venues, it would be number five.

                Not heard a good word about it for a few weeks now but have caught fish there at this time of year, just not this year.

                  As far as I'm aware theres been nothing caught there for weeks now.
