i got off work early tonight so decided to have a few hours up at craster. got set up and fisrt cast out at about 5pm, nothing for about 10 min then one cracking knock but missed it, exactly the same with second cast good knock but missed it, after that had a few more knocks which came to nothing but it goes to show there are still fish out there to be caught, its just catching them thats the problem. another thing is how come after you bait up and wrap half a mile of bait elastic around your bait also using a pennel rig and after a big bite is all the bait gone because if you bring the bait back whole and intact it takes forever to get it off the hook to put new on. have the fish got a stanley knife down there with them???? lol. anyway after a while i moved closer to the harbour as the sheep had there red eyes out( you lads who know me will know what i'm on about) and had a shot there only to catch the most popular fish in the sea, no prizes for what that was but in some comps its worth a couple of ounces.
packed up about 8pm ish and headed back home.
seastate was perfect, baits used, runnydown, crab and some nusell i got from amble market on sunday (good stuff)

    cheers

Lmao Mark, I am going to follow you up there one night and round up every single sheep I can find and send them down to where you are fishing. The red devil eyes are not real and are only a reflection of your true personality.

They should be more afraid of you mate.

      Jim.
Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.
