I had a bit of a mare today fishing the end of Shields pier, lost loads of gear and caught only one codling that was size but not worth weighing in. The rest of the lads fishing the comp on the pier had plenty fish including the eventual winner David Northeast, well done mate.
The weather was great with only the wind being a bit of a pain.
Great to see a good turn out for the comp and a big "thanks and well done" to everybody who participated, wether organising, fishing or donating prizes.
Hope we can do it again, with me winning it!

Congrats to David for taking the spoils. SSP it seems was the place to be.

Big well done to the organisers and a great total raised. Best wishes guys for what was obviously a fantastic day!

Hope it becomes a yearly competition.
