3rd ever beach session and had 2 codling both 2lb lost another and missed a few bites. lads either side of me had about 7+ each!think they had a bit more distance on me (and bigger baits)....... most of them were between 2lb-3lb by the looks of them and all fish were on straight lug. cheers for the lug if the guy is on here. off to bed now godda be at work in a few hours but worth it for a few fish! can't wait for the day when i get a biggun off the beach

canny session for you, dont need distance on wbay most people tend to cast over the fish as the holes are right in front of you. keep pluggin away m8 and you will get your bigun. wbay always a good shot this time of year. i was a little further south to you last night and we had 6 between us. also had 2 friday night

            sounds a decent session.

Typical. Thought about Whitley Bay for last night but with it being such a big tide ended up fishing abit further south

Well done on your fish, like Hulme Whitley is a beach I've never fished and I'm hoping to have a decent crack at it this year

2 hours either side of low. 1m plus tide with a big sea running in darkness.
