  • A few fish from Cambois

Me and Scotysim had a few hours of the rocks at Cambois, scott fished from 7 I got there at 8, 5 fish for scott and I had 2, 5 codling a coalie and a good size pouting, the cod were only small(upto 40cm all healthy were fish returned) we both lost a lot more fish in the kelp than we landed, scott losing a good fish after having it on untill 10 yards out, used rag, lug and a bit of left over crab. left around half ten ish, a great couple of hours and nice to see a few fish all be it small.

All the fish were caught quite close in about 60 yards out at the most.

Was as flat as a witches last night. Really warm as well, did not expect to catch owt but sometimes the fish surprise you. Water was really clear could see the bottom quite a way out.

It always makes it a better session when you dont expect much then the fish arrive.
Did you loose much gear when you where out .ive found that all along those rock edges can be hity missy for eating tackle.
