    Fished the pier with my brother in law 12 til 4 today nothing worth keeping but 7 fish between us (only 2 for me) 1 scorpion fish 3 coalings 1 wrasse 1 gurnard and a codling I still won on the day with the biggest fish the codling all went back un harmed and a gurnard is a new species for me. Good day out.

      Yep I had two of them on Friday. Very bonny looking fish. Hard to tell with your hand in the way but I reckon the 4th picture is a Pollack, going by the shape of the jaw and the colour.

            Thanks for help with id didnt know what the dragonet was someone on pier said it was a gurnard I was clueless ha

              Definitely a Pollock the size of the eya gives it away.
