Fished smiths dock 5-8pm fri nothing but crabs between 3of us(6 rods 8 hooks) saw one stamp size flatty caught further down guy leaving hadn't caught either n had been there most of day..off t blyth pier bout ten on end barely any daylight n they were hammering the macky so we set up just after bend few casts nowt then I hit into a 5inch eel pout new species for me wind was there one min then gone then huge gusts packed in at 10pm sick of feeding crabs with my shop bought pricey peeler
