Phill123 and I had a good 4 hour session at SS groin with plenty of codling up to about 33cm and some decent coalies about sizable, all fish returned even the 25cm codling that swallowed Phill's two 6.0 hooks(greedy little pig). Phill had a fish nearly every cast, I managed one every 3. Distance seemed to matter on quantity and size of fish. All fish devoured rag tipped with fresh crab some just rag. One codling had picked up a canny shore crab and with out even swallowing it took Phills bait too, Crab was pulled out of mouth and put on hook resulting in another codling. A good session to try out Phill's new fathoms and my new silky smooth magged torium.

Was a good day tide wasn't to bad considering size strong wires and 6oz leads were doing the job you were into fish every 5 to 10 mins didnt seem alot of crabs either. Wind on your back so great for getting into the channel good crack of a lad staying in the hotel behind. He was a fresh water fishing most racist man in the world considering he looked the same colour he was slagging off lol
