Fished the MOG Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Fished different locations every day. 20 lads, and there were under 10 Pollock caught. Planned to fish for Conger on the night, but struggled to find Mackerel in Any great numbers ! Plenty Wrasse, Coley and Dogfish. Went for a swim on the Friday as i mistimed the tides and was cut of by the tide, car broke down outside a shop in Drummore on the way there, couple mile from Portpatrick where we were staying! "Good Start, should of knew then".
1st time up there, and it's an amazing place to be. Unreal scenery, although you have to be a mountain goat to get to some marks! Gonna go a month earlier next Year ! Any way, went to SSP on Monday and had 8 Pollock all about 1.5lb-2lb. Just shows...:
GET OUT THERE AND STICK A BAIT IN IT !!!

there's been a few lads fish that area this season and they all said the fishing was slow but it's still a nice place to fish.
it's the chance of pulling in something different that you wouldn't catch at home that draws the anglers up there it's been a bit of a mixed up season fingers crossed lets hope the winter turns out ok
          there's always next year
