six of us went to the mull on monday and tuesday 12/13th august 2013, tenting at Sands of Luce camp site (good showers,pub and cafe). On the Monday we fished the flat rocks next to the lighthouse and caught very little in a strong westerly wind. On Tuesday we went to Port Patrick and fished off the "yellow rocks" (follow footpath South Upland Way towards golf course then head to rock outcrop coloured yellow due to the lichen). We filled two cool boxes with all manner of fish especially some good pollack caught on mackerel strip fished on the bottom. The locals were telling us that it had been a very poor year up there for tope and bass but we seemed to have no trouble at the yellow rocks. Sorry no pics.
