north shields fish quay 11th nov
fished the quay an hour before high tide and into slack water... and yet again blanked (on lug and rag)
didnt even get one single bite!! a lad was out with his daughter fishing about 20yds down
they got a codling of about 1ounce one of about 2ounces then one flatty about the size of a sweet wrapper!!! i dunno how they got hooked to be truthful .... the hooks and bait were bigger than the fish!!!
anyway after all that i nearly left me rod and reel in the bin at the quay - fed up of getting nowt, im starting to think that im jinxed as i dont even get bites - even when i could be stood next to someone landing decent fish i still get nothing
ps hello again after about 8 months....last i was on there was an auction i messed up on (sorry) but i lost me dsl connection then i had a load of crap this summer so have only just got back into fishing ...well got back into freezin me danglies off wasting worms
