Crabstick boys on Roker today

After yesterday's boat fishing cut short we decided to do abit float and bait fishing on Roker
Got there about 10 ish set rods up and off we went
1st cast and a small dab for me then Codfather got a massive , massive pull down on the float rod and out came a clinker of a fish lol

Then Stevie Codfather pulled in a tommy codling
By now mad rob had blew up 3 multipliers ( birds nests ) and lost his float not a great start for him
Then I got a small pollack for my species hunt

Rob pulled in a nice red scorpion fish and shortly after the best fish of the session a pollack of about 1 lb for his species hunt Well done mate

There was loads of makki getting caught at the end and there was quite a few codling getting caught on daylites
My son Cameron age 6 and his pal Raymond came along and me and Codfather let them use the small rods with both catching about 5 coalies each

If anyone is fishing opposite the second set of steps into the sea side not bay there is a rope or something like that about 60 yards out snag city full of line and daylites
