Fished with Mick65 last night on my favourite mark. Got down just after low water, and basically it was a fish a chuck (especially to Mick!!) He ended up with 11 codling to 5lb, a couple of whiting and a flounder, I had 8 codling, but nothing bigger than 1.5lb and a couple of whiting.

Good night had by both of us, it must have been teeming with codling in the 1-1.5lb range, I even got 2 on a pennel!

Heres Micks best fish of the night (the Ba*****!!!!!)

It was a great night, and I don't just mean because of the fish I caught, although it did help. It's been 18yrs since I last fished during the night in the winter. The move back North from living in Sutton, certainly seems worthwhile at the moment. Lets just hope thw winter season continues in the same way.
