Well went down this morning 5:30 with a mate for the mackerel as we need a few for Norway. Any how conditions perfect flat calm, few gulls diving, water crystal clear but it wasn't to be. 5 mackerel between 2 of us. Very poor giving the conditions and amount of rods on there.

They are sitting a bit further off the piers at the moment.. possibly due to the extra rain water from a few days ago... the lads who are capable of a longer cast are still getting them in decent numbers. Lad I work with had his first trip out thu night and caught 40... his entire winter collection in one trip... so much so that I now own his feathers! haha
And remember, it's called fishing, not catching It's just natures way of kicking us in the nuts and reminding us not to take if for granted"In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
