Fished Eyemouth today for club match 1pm - 5pm.
Got there nice and warm and got down to the mark just in time for the rain to turn it into a skating rink. View out from the mark below, going off Stores' book it is somewhere between Elgy Loch and Agate Point, south side of harbour by golf course.
First cast for Jack Coates (jnr) produced this cod around 4 1/2lb his biggest to date
Straight after a one of a couple of pounds for me
It then went quiet up to slack water and straight on the flood Bob Hill got a cod of around 4lb. While sorting out a tangle got another bite and a nice 3lb or so wrasse
Apart from one more little bite there were no more. A couple of other cod were caught by Steve Smith a bit further south. The rain came again to wet the rocks for the walk back which was great.
All in all a nice trip and the first time I've fished the south side in quite a few years. Normally at The Cannons or Hairy Ness.
Full results in match section.

Can't think of a nicer challenge - the rocks at Eyemouth and rain
Good to see you got fish though Peter.

Cheers. The thighs are feeling the price of slipping about though this morning. Still an enjoyable day.

Peter I thought your legs would have been tuned up after all the pogo'ing at the Upstarts concert. Or did you have your usual jelly legs on after a pepsi or two ?

Definately the jelly legs at that. it's amazing how many pints of Becks you get through in between bands, especially when she was driving.
