Only managed 3 1/2 hours fishing, on a flooing tide at Ardchattan, in front of the church.
I had plenty of macky and sandeel as advised, but unforunately the very strong current and heavy weed made it virtually unfishable. ( the seals probably didn't help either)
The end result was 0 fish but a pleasant evening standing amid some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain.
You were right about the depth of the water, Jim. Amazing.
Never mind....I'll be back !

Pity you didn't get a fish Tony but as you say it's a beautiful place mate.

When we fished it mate I caught nowt aswell if that makes you feel any better
Did you fish the right hand side of the stream Tony?
We watched a lad land a 6lb thornback from that spot
The view there tho' is fantastic!!!
We are going back september time I think and this time I intend to slay 'em

Just to the right of the stream, but straight into VERY deep water.
Next time we're there I'll get something, surely!
