just got back from a family holiday in a log cabin in scotland - the weather was great and i had a class time but the same cannot be said for the fishing experience!!!
i tried spinning twice and used rag and sandeel once off a mark i'd been told was spot on - a place called castle point near rockcliffe - anyway fished 2 hours down before i got so **** ed off with the lack of ANY so i did the mile hike back to the car and went home - tried spinning off around the same area with no results
still i did get to see one of the bestest sunsets ive ever seen walking abck across the sand to the car park- ill post a pic of it on main forum...

I wish fishing was that easy Anth,some places fish well one day then crap the next,check the Coldingham thread next to this one.
Rockcliffe is a good shot normally mate,bad luck
Got to agree with the sunsets over there,best part of the day,the rest of the day aint to bad either over there

I'm on a roll so I'll try some of my sunset experiments from Ireland last year

Peter, Could it be last year's Nationals by any chance ?.........Nice picture of a barren beach with lots of fishmen and no fish.....fond memories (not).

What an excellent picture I think Pete has a future in the arts ?
S hame about the fishing however after tonight I think were set for 2007 . Dingle revisted

Well done Foz. Eastney Beach, Portsmouth. Mid November and p***ing with sweat. What do you mean barren I had one small fish first chuck and never caught another for 10 hours.
I'll post some fond memories though.
