    Fished the pier with a couple of mates today. Using 2/0 1 up/ 1down rigs baited with either crab,rag,mussel,lug or squid. Caught a couple of flounder biggest being 13oz and a coley. My mate pulled in a decent one of 2lb2oz. Lots of flatties caught by others and quite a few small coley's. Best fishing was in the morning as the turn in the wheather in the afternoon and the turn of the tide seemed to kill it off!!!
    Tried floats inside the Tyne but the swell was to big, nevermind a good day had by all

    i was fishing the blocks from 1.00pm until 5.00pm
    not a sniff
    my mate won the match with 5 flounders 6 feet away from me
