Fished the last Newbiggin Winter league comp last night. Poor night for me managed only 1 . Only 4 people weighed in. Not in the comp, Geoff King had a good night however. Fishing Church point he had 4 cod weighing 25 - 12oz including fish of 10 - 2oz and 8 - 8oz. Bait was frozen crab, razor and mussel.

Good bloke that Geof King! Have fished next (against) him in the Sea Leagues a couple of times. Always happy to give advice and share knowledge.

Just goes to show yourstruly wasn't far off the mark last night a little bit further south and it could very well have been him and probably would have been.
Im sure he wouldn't have rubbed it in tho
