me and my mate fished the back of the castle tonight and we had one brilliant night 5 codling altogether 6lb, 4lb, and 3 at 2lb all fell to mussel bait will try and get sum pictures on here in the next few days

canny walk, ive fished it before , never had anything , just lost lots of weights...lol

can be brilliant after sea has dropped off i have found for best results go through castle to furthest N/easterly point come off grounds and climb down to 2nd shelf or ledge is easy to spot. hope your not afraid of hights can have great fun spinning or stick floating for pollack in the summer nice catch look forward to the photo,s

its is a canny walk but if you go up during the day you can find all the gulleys and decent marks on the way up to the castle if you come in from craster and its where i have lost all my weight this year from them long walks lol

canny session mate used to fish craster a lot many moons ago
but always ended up in the fishermans arms or rest or something
cant remember the name but it was the only pub there

same here ,ive had some great sessions up there with my dad ,26 years ago the old fella bagged a 14lb fish near the castle and that was using a scarboro reel and a 9ft rod ,but i recon theres more lead there than rocks now .....lol

Yeah some walk lads especially when lamp goes off seemed to be alot of people fishing cullernose point are aswell

cracking shot i love fishing it and because o the walk its normally quiet had fish to 9lb off the south side of the gully casting north off the point between the south point of the gully and the north skeers deeper water and fishes through the tide but i have more success on the flood i also find using breakaway grippers helps get me out of the majority of the inevitable snags the long wire ones are the best expensive but i seem to loose less so worth it really.
