Got there 10 am today guys looking for some Macky and hopefully a Pollack. Met with misty weather which soon burned off. Slow going with the macky with just the odd one being caught. I ended up on the blocks and used a small Macky shad. Latched onto a nice Pollack of about 7lb which dropped on the lift.
As day wore on mist burned off and there was a steady stream of macky being caught. Loads of large sandeels/launce in the water.
    Mick.

It's been said that Mick has always been behind with the times, ha. Seen the photo of the fish on top of the water, does look a nice size. Unlucky Mick

Bad luck Mick, that would have been some catch m8.

Sounds like a busy session though .. the odd one always reaches freedom so disappointing but next year it'll be a pound heavier when you hook it

Cheers Lads-oops about the date. Chut the pic I took was of a dead Porpoise in the river. A young lad cast out and caught it on his daylights. I helped him pull it in. It had lost its head and had few big cuts looked like propeller blades.
