    Heard of a 10lber being caught from smiths dock a mate of mine over heard it in frazers anyone confirm it or heard owt ..Mr Charlton???

    It wasnt Smiths - it was further up the river past the Marina - Sless knows where it was ,he was in ID on Chilli Road when it was weighed -I think

    but there was a good`n - not at smiths though - i was there tonight and it was utter Sh*te ,used all kinds - Crab and runny - runny/rag - crab/ squid - all of the mentioned added together in some way or another on a 6/0 -3/0 pennel - and it was crap

    had to laugh at codonly mind you - he sets up a bait that even i would have tried Crab and white worm cocktail - He hoyes it in the middle of the River ,looks at me and says - " Thats got a Cod Written all over it "


    He got a F**king Whiting on a 4/0-2/0 pennel

    Laugh ,i nearly got the round in Ha Ha

    I had hears that there had been a couple of 'good' fish from Smiths a couple of days back - but know no details

    the lad who caught the 10lb cod at Appledores is called Kevin and is a member of the Nautilus club, anybody know his second name i can not remeber it.
