if ya fancy a 30min hike down a dirt track allong a beach and then finally a pier this is the place for you . went up there tonight with a mate of mine who is normally a sea and salmon angler, fished 1hr up to high water then came off midnight. me 2 sized whities, my mate leigh 1 whitie. plenty of good knocks and a good bit crack too. would love to fish it with a bit of sea running. if you dont like walking dont try it its one hell of a hike. stll agood night though

Nice one Mark. Don't try to fish it if it's too rough though mate, saw a lad get washed onto the rocks on the harbour side quite a few years ago. Luckily he got back up and walked off. We couldn't believe it when they were dodging waves to get onto the end.

aye jim we were talking about that tonight saying that it would be ok if the waves were just lapping up a little, would never try it if it was to rough, but after a good rough sea it could be a corking place to fish, unlike the south pier not as busy mainly for the distance you have to walk to get to it.
cheers
