Fished for 3 hours tonight near Meggies Burn,bitterly cold with a decent sea on.Intended staying longer but I think it will fish better tomorrow or Monday on a dying sea
Lug,Rag and squid or Razor cocktails
1 x 3lb ish 3 x Whiting

Nice one Alan. I was up at Stubbley's along with about eight others. I lost one but there was nothing pulled in there mate.

I fished the sea when it was building ..nowt ,you fished when it was UP and now it's dying I was gonna fish tonight but decided to get peed instead ,now I'm sitting here thinking what I might be missing !

Often a pattern to this...... phone call next morning means good night..... no phone call......hah hah. Hope I'm wrong and he's got a bag full.

Just spoken to Rod. He got nothing. Fished Stoney and Barge Botton until low water and just fast holds. Left as the tide was turning - told him that they would have come on on the turn. 3 of us took 11 codlings off Minsmere beach last Thursday. Small bass and flats there to annoy. All fish around 2 - 3 lb.
