conitions calm although good tide running fished 18.30-22.30 HW 21.00
fished with a mate Barry Scholes and his 12 yr old sonAdam (scottish international junior)
bait yellow and black lug tipped with muscle some peeeler and whatever else came to hand
NO CODLING
outfished by them both i eventually found the distance and ended up with my first shore caught haddock of just on 1lb
between Barry and Adam i would estimate high teens of mainly haddock of size the odd whiting and a pollack of 1 - 1/12 lb total bag weight for all of us approx 18-20 lb great night wished i'd not been a chicken and started with muti and not f/spool for fear of nesting as couldnt time f/spoolcast right

Tack, next time you see Barry, tell him Davy Redford is asking after him. Had a few good nights in Kirkcudbright during the 2 day matches with him and others
