posted on 17/11/2005 at 03:44Fished south end of whitley beach tuesday night had 3 codlings for 7lb 9oz heaviest 4lb 2oz lots of rods out and reports of plenty of fish coming from all over the beach had a relly good night ' then wednesday a nice little sea on so decided on another session this time on tynemouth beach fished from 7pm till 9.30pm at the bottom of the stairs not a sniff so decided on the north skeer at whitley for the flood unclipped me trace parted the rod in the car and away 15 mins later had me bait in the water only in a couple of minuites when i got a good knock picked up the rod nod nod struck hook up decent fish this i thought then i got snagged and me line parted at the leader now normaly around the north end of whitley i would fish with a slosh 30 and 30lb straight through but i still had me mag 525 attached from tynemouth schoolboy error laziness ' anyway attached the slosh tied on another rig and cast out decided to have a cup of tea bollocks left me cup on tynemouth beach rummaged through me tackle box and all i had was the top of a tin of wd40 couldn't drink it direct from the flask to hot so i had to leave the lid off the flask so it could cool doon a bit then i managed to drop me tabs in a rockpool and to cap off a wonderfull night i tripped and shattered 2 rings on me conoflex nemesis walked off in a right strop..
