posted on 16/11/2005 at 17:05I fished the main cullercoats gully last night from 19:00 til 22:00
First chuck, 1 cracking knock that resulted in my first codling of the winter approx 1 3/4lb. Next chuck resulted in a really good knock and I struck into a better fish that dived straight under the ledges and through the kelp, unfortunately that ones still out there.
Never landed any more fish but had bites on every cast bar 1, bait Lug tipped with rag, cracking night, saddended by the news from the pier.
