posted on 14/11/2005 at 22:04fished last night and it was just right ,i ended up fishing from a rocky outcrop into very rough ground ,lost a lead per cast,its a spot ive always walked past but i saw all the marks i wanted to fish full of anglers ,anyway i landed 2 fish in nearly 4 hours best just over 7lb(seasons best so far) other 5lb + a bloke and his kid came near me ,the lad caught 5 codling best 4lb+on squid and mussel ,plus there was a match on and the winner had 28lb+ it was a very good night ,tried again tonight and came away with 3 fish for 7lb ,a whitby angler had a fish of 8lb +tonight and lost a much bigger one in the snags .if the forcast is right we are supposed to get some northerley's tomorrow,lets hope it keeps bringing in fish like this .oh and only one fish out of all those caught was fresh run ,they were all red
