HI LADS,JUST THOUGHT ABOUT GIVING U A UPDATE ON MY LATEST SESSION AT SEAHAM HALL BEACH,ME AND MY BUD FISHED THE MIDDLE STEPS FOR 2HRS UP AND 2 HRS DOWN.A MIXED NIGHT.I STARTED OFF WITH A COUPLE OF SIZE WHITING IN 2 CASTS WITCH WAS RETURNED ALONG WITH A 1LB BASS THAT TOOK MY FULL SQUID 20 YARD ROD 30 MINS BEFORE HW.THEN THE WIND PICKED UP FROM THE SOUTH AND AS SEAHAM HALL IS A SHALLOW BEACH FROM THE LOW WATER LINE THE WIND MADE FISHING BEHOND 40 YARDS A WASTE OF TIME.I HOKKED A FISH FROM ABOUT 20 YARDS AND PULLED IT THROUGH THE FIRST SET OF BREAKERS AND SAW IT WAS CODLING OF ABOUT 4LBS BUT IT DID NOT MAKE IT THROUGHT THE SWELL AND SPAT THE HOOK.WITYH INCREASING WINDS AND A SAND SHOWER WE BADE GOODNIGHT AT AROUND 11.NOT A BRILLIANT NIGHT BUT A GOOD TIME ANYHOW.
GOOD FISHING ALL ANS I HOPE YOUR NEXT COD REQUIRES RAF HELICOPTER ASSISTANCE.

hi allan,sorry about the caps.i aint got a lot to shout about at the moment but i had a good year last year and didnt get my first cod till nov 11.ended season in march with last.total fish caught last season
cod..51,best 11lb 7oz
bass 7 (excluding schoolies) best 6lb
flounder over 1lb 4..best 1lb 11oz
whiting..4536645243950947465 (lol)not a one over 1lb 8oz..most under 8oz
glad to be here lads and does anybody fish seaham,horden,hartlepool area and would like to trade marks or even maybee a bit fishing

i fish seaham all time johnny pm me ill give you bit advice / share spot's/marks and mabey have bit fishing

Welcome to NESA jonny.
Don't worry about trading marks or fishing mate just keep posting as you are and it will happen. Lots of friendly people on here who fish your area so no problem..

Jonny - can you still drive your car down a bank to the prom there? The bank I mean is at the north eand of the beach. I have in the past as I was a bit reluctant to leave it up top!

hi lads just got back in,cheers for the replies.yes u can still get your car down.fish from the boot at hw.im out thursday night from 5 .i think im going either to the targets or the caves at the hall.got some fresh runny to use up to make a space in fridge.any body out round there on thursday gis a shout and we will have a bit fish.thers only 2 of us so its not exactly crowded..lol.happy fishing lads
