fished roker pier for 2 hours tonight, 4-30 til 6-30. ended up with 13 decent whitings and one dab all took on macky strip. it was blowing a gale when i came off and it looked like the sea was building from the south east.

well done micky them wins did pick up around 7ish

If it's half as bad there as it is here it must be a nightmare to try and fish in it.

i started on the round head but it was that bad i ended up in the bunker, it was like a different world there, due to the wind direction it was totaly sheltered. it was a bit rough walking off the pier though once i'd left the sanctury of the bunker.

I fished there Sunday afternoon Mick, it was exactly the same, most casts you got a double shot, but there were quite a few undersize. Impressed by the size of most of them as they're normally skinny at this time of year.
