Just got back from a week staying up near Sugar Sands. Fished Tues Wed Thurs and Fri from about 3pm til 7 or 8. Tuesday best by far. 4 bass, best 2lb. 1 very small and other 2 about 1ib. Also 2 stonking flounders (for me anyway) best 2lb. Other days less good. Tuesday all fish caught in daylight with a decent sea running. Wednesday 4 coalies 2 of which were goldfish size and 1 flounder. Thurs 2 coalies about 1lb each and Friday blanked. All fish after dark except Tues. Great week. Intended to let you know I was there Red5 but wasn't sure whether I'd get to fish or not. Seems it stops fishing as the sea drops off but well worth a go with a few waves breaking.

Didn't dig bait Steve. Very small tides so bait a bit of a problem. All fish on rag tipped with razor. Tried frozen crab and maccy as well but only rag& razor produced fish.

Nay bother Colossus....Don't tend to fish much there now as it's not as productive as it used to be...Finding I'm having to venture to tackle graveyards to get fish at the mo!
